Renewal Process

Nurses can renew their licenses through the KSBN Nurse Portal. Renewal is available within 90 days prior to the license expiration date. Ensure all continuing education requirements are met before initiating the renewal process.​

Continuing Education Requirements

  • RNs and LPNs: 30 contact hours of approved continuing nursing education (CNE) every two years.
  • APRNs: 30 contact hours related to advanced practice every two years.​
